Johnson Controls Inc.

Video Management System

The Digital Vision Network 5000 Series from Johnson Controls lets users customize what types of suspicious behavior the device records. The series comes in four-, eight- and 16-channel digital audio/video recording and management systems. Each camera input is compressed and adjusted independently, and all images are digitally signed and encrypted to protect against tampering. The system provides 400 to 480 images per second and is capable of multiple recording speeds.

    PIPS Technology

    Plate Recognition

The PAGIS from PIPS Technology captures license plate numbers for vehicles traveling up to 130 mph. It supports the use of multiple databases to compare and match plates. Its touchscreen keyboard lets officers key in notes about an event and take a color picture of the violator. The PAGIS also lets law enforcement monitor time-enforced parking areas and digitally chalk vehicles. The system will trigger an alert when a car has overstayed its allotted time.

      Bosch Security Systems

      Video Encoder

The VideoJet X SN IP video encoders from Bosch are located at the edge of a network to save system resources. The encoders are available in single-, dual- and quad-channel versions. They deliver MPEG-4 video at 30 fps at up to 4 CIF resolution on every video channel. Intelligent Video Analysis 3.5 is embedded into the encoders, letting them anonymously detect suspicious behavior.

        Agent Vi

        Operating System

Agent Vi's Mango IVS 3.0 operating system can process real-time analytics while interfacing with any analog camera, several IP cameras, video servers and video management systems. The system can encode, decode and transcode high-end MPEG-4/H264 video while analyzing it at the same time. The videos are sent to the system's video management software, which uses low bandwidth to store and play the data.

          Avigilon

          License Plate Recognition Module

Avigilon’s High Definition LPR delivers real-time, reliable and superior image quality for high rates of optical character recognition. Fully integrated within the Avigilon High Definition Control Center surveillance system, the HD LPR is simple to install and includes flexible post-incident search capabilities and on-screen and e-mail alerts from imported watch lists. Avigilon will also release HD LPR capture kits to help simplify setup.

            videoNEXT

            Video Analytics Solution

The v-IQ™ video analytics solution from videoNEXT mines and evaluates critical events amid massive amounts of video data. Object tracking via advanced ground subtraction algorithms isolates objects from the background and determines what the object is doing. The modules can be applied in real time or in a forensic search to recognize abandoned objects, velocity and count of objects, access control tailgating, directional violations, zone of protection violation and object handoff.

              Third Eye Inc.

              Security Alert Tracking System

The biometric Security Alert Tracking System from Third Eye Inc. collects information from the reflectance of light on the human body, in a noninvasive manner, to monitor key vital signs, including heart rate and oxygen saturation levels. The wrist-mounted device, which can be worn comfortably, collects and sends information wirelessly to a central monitoring system. The receiving system can be configured with a video surveillance system to trigger cameras to zoom in on subjects.

                Mimosa Systems

                File Archiving System

The Mimosa NearPoint™ file archiving system enables users to retain, retrieve and recover critical, free-range files. The system provides users with content archive that addresses critical requirements for storage optimization, end-user information access, eDiscovery, content monitoring and recovery in a single solution. Advanced stubbing technology coordinates the use of network and backup processes while preserving the look and feel of the original file that was stored on the production disk.

                  Pelco

                  Intelligent Video

Pelco's Endura Intelligent Video & Analytics consists of an Endura Intelligent Video Encoder and Video Analytics Behaviors software. Predefined rules identify specific conditions and notify operators via an alarm. The encoder delivers dual-independent MPEG-4 video streams up to 30 fps per video stream while still processing object detection software. The system processes video in real time, delivering a higher level of accuracy in video analytics. This distributed approach also relieves the system of unnecessary bandwidth demands.

                    License Plate Camera

Extreme CCTV's REG® IP license plate capture camera is now compatible with the Milestone license plate recognition software, XProtect™ Analytics, which reads, detects and stores license plate information from a digital video stream. Incorporating Extreme’s DHC-Imaging™ and Ambient Rejection technologies, the camera overcomes capture problems related to speed, reflectivity, sunlight and headlight glare.
