8000 transmitter/receiver module

IndigoVision’s 8000 transmitter/receiver module converts analog-based CCTV camera feeds to digital video. The unit features MPEG-4 and H.264 compression, SIF, 2SIF and 4SIF resolutions, IP-based video and a built-in firewall. The unit’s multicast technology provides multiple user access to video and audio streams.

    IP-CCTV Surveillance System

    IndigoVision’s IP-CCTV video surveillance system allows cameras, workstations and video recorders to be installed anywhere on the network. The system’s security management software features a control center, an NVR with 500 GB of storage and an activity control framerate that compresses required data and network bandwidth. The ACF feature is built into IndigoVision’s transmitter/receiver units and IP cameras, which reduces the framerate of the transmitted video during periods of scene activity.

      ComNet’s SHR fiber-optic video product line can restore a CCTV network. The line consists of the FVT FVR1010SHR single channel with data series, the FVT/FVR4014SHR series with four video and data channels, and the FVT/FVR8018SHR series with eight video and data channels. All models are digital fiber-optic video transmitters and receivers with bidirectional data that incorporate a self-healing feature. In the event of a broken fiber connection, the video and data transmission is re-routed when the system is configured in a ring topology.

          Passive video balun

          The one-channel passive video balun is guaranteed to provide 12 volts DC power to a camera within 1,000 feet. Although the power assurance balun transmits 24 volts DC from a power adapter, it will step down and stabilize to 12 volts DC for the camera. All video baluns have surge/lightning protection, electrostatic discharge protection and wave/interference rejection and noise filter. Five, nine and 16 channels also are available.
