The MX41E from Community Professional Loudspeakers is a two-way bass reflex monitor that is available in 90x40- or 60x40-degree coverage patterns. The monitor features rotating horns for narrower horizontal coverage and angled backs that allow it to be positioned at 30- or 45-degree angles. The MX41E has ferrofluid-cooled LF driver technology, solid birch plywood construction, a 16-gauge perforated, powder-coated steel grille, a solid steel input panel with a passive/bi-amp switch and Neutrik input connectors.

Alarm System
The SC Black wireless alarm system from Supercircuits can be programmed and modified from the system's wireless alphanumeric keypad, a computer USB or remotely over the Internet, a mobile phone or text message. An RF card reader is built into the keypad with the capacity to enroll up to 50 RF tags and 50 user codes. All devices in the system are monitored for communication, battery condition and tampering. It has a range of 100 meters, which can be extended with an optional antenna.

The Prowler from Stealth Cam records high-quality VGA video that can be adjusted from 50 to 90 seconds per video clip. The Prowler provides time and date, moon phase and temperature stamping on every video clip and captured image. It uses 5 megapixels for color daytime pictures and 2 megapixels for black-and-white nighttime pictures. The Prowler has 42 “no flash” infrared emitters that illuminate up to 50 feet of the surrounding area.

The Rechargeable CyberKey from Videx is housed in a durable metal case and is comparable in size to a standard electronic car key. It has a lithium-ion polymer battery with a battery life of three to four years. The battery charges between 15 minutes to two hours and lasts one to two weeks. Red and green LEDs indicate where users have access, and the keys can be color-coded to indicate special user groups.

The Metasys IFC2-3030 from Johnson Controls networks with other IFC systems and can integrate with a Metasys management system. The fire control panel is UL ninth edition listed, and it supports up to 3,180 intelligent, addressable devices. The IFC2-3030 supports one to 10 signaling line circuits with up to 159 detectors and modules per loop. The device has eight channels of digital audio that can be used for emergency paging and simultaneous broadcasting of multiple messages.

GE Security’s StreetLab Mobile is a portable and user-friendly device that identifies a broad range of liquid, powder and solid substances. The unit uses wireless technology to quickly deliver results to remote command centers. It can detect about 1,000 chemical and toxic industrial substances as well as a number of biological agents. The StreetLab uses Raman spectroscopy to identify substances based on their molecular structure.

UL-844- and C-UL/CSA C22.2 No. 137-listed, the electric lighting fixtures are designed for hazardous locations. Both models use high-intensity halogen lamps to provide bright, glare-free illumination of the interior of vessels, tanks, hoppers, silos, mixers and other normally closed containers. The illumination port, used in conjunction with a standard sightglass, offers users many options, including the use of a video or TV camera.
