Local Operating Console
The Local Operator Console (LOC) is used to remotely control emergency messaging and system operation. The unit’s new lower-cost version comprises a telephone and 16 programmable switches that enable users to direct pre-recorded and live voice messages to any designated area within a facility. The console meets the mass notification requirements of an LOC as prescribed by United Facilities Criteria (UFC) document 4-021-1 and NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.

Addressable Node Expander
The ANX (Addressable Node Expander) is designed to extend the capacity of Gamewell-FCI's E3 Series Expandable Emergency Evacuation systems to support up to 122 nodes (for control panels and other modules) and more than 75,000 addressable device points on one network. The device also can connect E3 Series networks with the company’s FocalPoint graphic workstations to provide more detailed monitoring information and control of additional system functions remotely and at high speeds via a new Ethernet connectivity feature.

IntelliGuard Systems’ second generation RAVENAlert keychain, a campus emergency alert device that includes a 4 GB flash drive, is customized with a school’s logo and comes pre-loaded with important school documents. In contrast to cellular-based systems, the company’s advanced wireless network protocol, which is based on an amended technology previously used in the paging industry, unifies all intended recipients so that emergency alerts can be received by an unlimited number of people and places at the same time in seconds.

Talk-A-Phone’s ETP Series Emergency Phone Wall
Mount, designed specifically for mass transit applications,
features an emergency trip button,
which can cut power to the tracks and halt oncoming
trains. Only authorized personnel can disengage
the button using a special key. When a user
pushes the “Info” button on the faceplate, the analog
or IP phone automatically dials a pre-programmed
number that connects to an operator.
The company’s all-LED Blue Light is housed inside
the mount, granting visibility at large distances.

Emergency Warning Platform
Metis Secure Solutions’ emergency warning platform for universities allows
authorized personnel to send detailed instructions to alerting devices in specific
locations in less than 10 seconds. Each device is equipped with a two-way
Call for Help feature, which allows a student to automatically send a request for
help to the university police by pressing a button. The system uses three primary,
independent data paths-FM-RBDS sub-carrier, wireless mesh network
and wired Ethernet-to communicate.

Flashing Blue Lights
Talk-A-Phone’s flashing emergency Blue Lights,
available in 120-volt and 12/24-volt versions, are
typically used in conjunction with emergency
phones. The ultra-bright all-LED blue lights feature
a 209 lumens peak rating and a prismatic pattern to
enhance visibility at greater distances. The unit’s
all-LED construction significantly increases lifespan
and provides reliable service.

Potter’s Amseco SSX-52 Series of indoor/outdoor
sirens replaces the existing SSX-51 Series and
features a new look and design. Durable polycarbonate
housing is attached to an aluminum back
plate. An optional strobe is available in amber, red,
clear and blue. The strobe uses a matched mirror
and lens to provide a light color distinguishable in
dark and light environments. The sirens continue
to feature 120 dB warble tone sound output and a
dual action tamper that protects from cover or rear
plate removal.

Barix AG’s Annuncicom 155 IP intercom and announcement device is
designed for use on trains and in rail station tunnels. The device enables
systems integrators to set up tailored communication systems
ranging from simple door intercom, PA and background music systems
to complex monitoring functions and emergency announcement
systems. It also meets the EN50155 standard requirements for
rail vehicle installations. The system can stand alone or operate in
conjunction with PCs and central IT management in a standard network.

The Cellular Communication Center (C3) allows for remote security monitoring for homes without landlines or as a backup for when the existing landline is cut. It provides two-way communication, allowing the remote telephone monitoring company to call the house to check on the homeowner.

System Sensor’s new SpectrAlert Advance line of mass notification devices and accessories is designed to meet developing mass notification codes and requirements. Plug-in designs, field-adjustable settings and universal mounting plates with onboard shorting springs extend the versatility of the products. The indoor and outdoor devices contain amber lenses, speaker strobes and ALERT-printed devices. Plain devices with decals are available for general signaling applications, and color lens attachments can convert any clear strobe for mass notification system or general signaling applications.
