An RFID card must be presented to open the vault and request the electronic key, which contains specific access permissions. Dirak's E-line Basic series of electro-mechanical swinghandles monitor access to server cabinets. The line offers a flexible interface that enables the handle to be integrated into existing security systems. Interface options include biometric systems and RFID readers. Built-in safety functions protect the swinghandle’s locking solenoid from generating too much heat, even when there is a failure to the main system. Features include a status LED, status transmission to show locked/unlocked and a modular design.
