    REDSCAN RLS-3060

The REDSCAN RLS-3060 is an innovative laser scan detector. It can detect a moving object’s size, speed, and distance, and process that information with a unique algorithm, which results in high-reliability detection of people with minimal false alarms. The detector also can be mounted vertically or horizontally according to the application and site conditions. When vertical detection is selected, the detector creates a 200-foot detection area that functions like an invisible wall. With four outputs for remote video applications and four fully programmable detection areas linked with these outputs, the detector is deal for controlling PTZ cameras. When horizontal detection is selected, the RLS-3060 creates a detection area with a radius of 100 feet and an arc of 190 degrees

      Watchout Extreme

The Watchout Extreme intrusion detector is designed specifically for outdoor environments. The product provides 24-hour protection against vandalism, using both active IR anti-mask and proximity alerts. The IP-65-rated detector also features RISCO’s Sway Recognition and Digital Correlation technologies, microwave anti-collision that allows back-to-back installation, a protective hood, unique remote control and diagnostics, and opto relays for defeating large magnets.

        Fiber SenSys LLC

        Perimeter Protection Technology

The SecureLAN from Fiber SenSys is a perimeter protection technology that protects LAN data from computer hackers. The fiber-optic-based system has embedded sensors that detect any threatening intrusions. Each perimeter installation is tuned to ignore natural disturbances such as wind and small animals and can be equipped with accessories such as anemometers. The system can be retrofitted by integrating it with existing LANs.

          Astron Wireless Technologies Inc.

          Antenna

Astron’s 700 MHz directional antenna comes with an ever-sealed balanced feed system, ¾ inch boom materials, mounting hardware and a one-hook pigtail for easy installation. The antenna is available in omnidirectional and Yagi models. Omnis are offered in Unity and 3dBd gain models, and directional antennas are available in a variety of gain applications from 7 to 12 dB. The 700 MHz Yagi is available with any required amount of coaxial length for easy installation.

            Avigilon

            License Plate Recognition Module

Avigilon’s High Definition LPR delivers real-time, reliable and superior image quality for high rates of optical character recognition. Fully integrated within the Avigilon High Definition Control Center surveillance system, the HD LPR is simple to install and includes flexible post-incident search capabilities and on-screen and e-mail alerts from imported watch lists. Avigilon will also release HD LPR capture kits to help simplify setup.

              ELMO USA Corp.

              Document Camera

              CMOS image sensor

Elmo's P100 document camera features 30 fps and ultra-high resolution. The 64x zoom document camera offers 1.3 million pixels from a CMOS image sensor for ultra-high resolution and image quality. A flexible arm broadens the camera’s reach to project 3-D objects and permits one-finger setup, making the unit compliant with Federal Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The camera also folds for safe and efficient transport and storage. All frequently-used controls are conveniently located at the user’s right hand for uninterrupted flow.

                MOXA

                Ethernet I/O Server

                Peer-to-peer

MOXA's ioMirror E3210 is a high-speed, peer-to-peer, active Ethernet I/O server. The server uses Ethernet and IP networks to extend the distance between digital inputs and outputs. The transmission speed between a DI and DO can be as high as 20 milliseconds over an Ethernet network. By keeping the time delay small, the server can be used for applications such as fluid level monitoring and transmitting the optical sensor signals used in conveyor belt systems.

                  PROTECH/Protection Technologies

                  Outdoor Dual-Technology Sensors

                  Enhanced bird/animal immunity

The PIRAMID XL2 sensor from PROTECH/Protection Technologies features a unique false-alarm-free performance. The series offer enhanced bird immunity and a digital signal processing circuit. Extreme conditions and randomly moving objects do not affect the sensors. The products are based in Stereo Doppler, a microwave sensor design that determines the precise movement in centimeters a target has to move to activate a sensor alarm. This movement parameter is field adjustable with an internal sensitivity control switch.

                    System Sensor

                    Smoke Detector

                    Samples air in duct housings

sx7np21.tif System Sensor’s 7251DH intelligent air duct smoke detector combines a high-sensitivity laser sensor with smoke-detection capability. By employing a detector in an air sampling duct housing, the sensing can take place in a controlled manner in the return air stream. When the laser sensor senses sufficient smoke, an alarm signal is initiated at the fire control panel. The product is geared toward facilities with a high number of air changes per hour, where additional smoke detection is recommended for use in the return-air stream.
